The South - Under Construction

"The South" is not easily defined! Even deciding which states to include in the region can be complicated, as this varies according to the source. This page attempts to cover the basics and include what one American from a semi-Southern state considers South.

The South is a colorful region with plenty of "local flavor" and a fascinating culture, or more accurately, a collection of cultures.

Southerners are known for their hospitality, their laid-back attitudes, and their charming accents!
